The Ladies of Caliber leadership team are NRA Certified Basic Pistol Instructors and Range Safety Officers. We specialize in educating women on how to use and become comfortable with their firearms in a nurturing and encouraging environment. 

Do you want to learn how to confidently and reliably operate your firearm but don't know where to start? Have you been to the range with a well-meaning friend or relative but still didn't feel comfortable? The first step in your firearms journey is attending our Introduction to Firearms and Range Safety course. 

This 2-hour class has been specially developed for brand new shooters and is entirely classroom-based (no range time.) Utilizing fake firearms, we walk you through firearm safety, range safety protocols, stance, grip, how to load magazines, and much more! We offer this two-hour course for groups of twelve or more in the classroom at our home range in Caddo Mills or you can host a private class for your girlfriends in your home.  We offer all-female classes as well as co-ed classes; minors must be aged 12+ and accompanied by a parent.

Are you ready to step it up and learn the basics while on the range? If so, we offer an Introduction to Firearms and Range Safety: Live Fire course. We teach the same class as above but our classroom will be a private range bay and we will use real firearms for hands-on learning. This class runs approximately 2.5 hours and requires participants to bring 100 rounds of ammo, eye and ear protection, and a firearm. If the participant does not have a firearm to bring, the instructors have a few loaners available.
