The Ladies of Caliber leadership team are NRA Certified Basic Pistol Instructors and Range Safety Officers. We specialize in educating both women and men on how to use and become comfortable with their firearms in a nurturing and encouraging environment. 

Do you want to learn how to confidently and reliably operate your firearm but don't know where to start? Have you been to the range with a well-meaning friend or relative but still didn't feel comfortable? The first step in your firearms journey is attending our Introduction to Firearms and Range Safety: Live Fire course. 

This 2.5-hour class has been specially developed for brand new shooters, starting in the classroom and finishing on the range. Utilizing fake firearms in the classroom, we walk you through firearm safety, range safety protocols, stance, grip, how to load magazines, and much more! 

On the range we will use real firearms for hands-on learning. We offer this course at our home range in Caddo Mills. This class runs approximately 2.5 hours and requires participants to bring 100 rounds of ammo, eye and ear protection, and a firearm. If the participant does not have a firearm to bring, the instructors have a few loaners available.
